Bought at a salesman sample sale in Palo Alto, CA (sorry I don't keep receipts from 1994). KNOW YOUR HISTORY: Samples back then did NOT come with box or retro card. Samples only come in men's 9 (and women's 7).That is why on the insert sticker you can still see it say "Available sizes", which indicates that this is a sample. No other regular shoe would ever have to tell you it came in other sizes because it's pointless to do so. Original laces that shows piling.
Original sample insole stickers still in tact and legible Made in Taiwan, not China. Ultra-rare 1994 Air Jordan I sample in good used condition.
This is the first sample of the first ever Air Jordan Retro. This sample was made in Taiwan, whereas the retail version of the first-ever Air Jordan retro from 1994 is made in China. These feature much better leather and the shape and details are exactly the same as 1985 OG. The item "1994 Nike Air Jordan 1 retro SAMPLE bred og banned 9 made in Taiwan 130207-061" is in sale since Monday, December 10, 2018.
